But today I came across 2 sites that I find very useful for daily usage. The sites as follows…

#1 www.weeave.com

Weeave, to my understanding, is a website that combines all popular and leading social networking sites into one place. It even incorporates Twitter and Facebook feeds as well as your email accounts, even POP email. Cool? Yes!

Within Weeave, you can see all your updates in one place. And best of all, you can simply create a status message in Weeave’s default text box to publish to all your other social network site with one click. Easy peasy. I like it because it’s simple and easy to use, although I don’t quite fancy the transparent windows. I can’t really read the text that well. But overall, I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

#2 www.paper.li

Basically, paper.li transform your twitter feeds into a newspaper layout by grabbing all the links from within your timeline and from your followers tweets. From what I see, it is very useful. It can be your “hub” for all the information that is given to you and provided by you. A portal of links that you can check out from one site when you have that free time during office hours. And it made your twitter tweets look a lot cooler too.

Conclusion

So far, these were the only 2 websites that I find very useful for me at this moment. I really don’t mind logging on both sites on daily basis just to check out the feeds. Come to think of it, both sites provides feeds in their own special ways. Go ahead and register in either sites or both if you wish to. Of course, it’s free.

Most of the usual tweeps showed up that night, including some new ones. Really awesome to meet you guys.

The Carnaval Churrascaria is an all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ restaurant situated in Damansara Jaya near Atria. They serve some awesome barbequed dishes like lamb, beef, chicken, fish, turkey ham, yummy-licious garlic bread and even barbecued pineapple. ALL of those dishes were awesome. Most of us left the place feeling rather stuffed…or more. 

Most importantly, we had lots of fun…

#1 @rararawr and @ronny1976 was busy playing games while waiting for the others.

#2 Definitely won’t be saying no to the lamb shoulder.

#3 The tender barbecued beef, cooked to medium rare. Loving it!

#4 People on the other table, enjoying their meals.

#5 First tweetup (?) for @mrkay2911 and wife.

#6 Cute pose with the super cute baby.

#7 Yes, everyone was feeling happy and stuffed after the meal.

We definitely will be having another tweetup soon. But maybe we might skip this Carnaval restaurant because the food intake would cut us back to about RM50 per pax and also increase our cholesterol. Perhaps we should think of something simpler and healthier. Nevertheless, it was totally worth it.

What’s next?

One of our tweet buddy, @darnman45 (Mr Bond) has agreed with me that we all can “serbu” his bachelor’s pad for our next tweetup. So I was thinking of a PotluckTwtup where everyone bring something to the venue. At the same time, @darnman45 has also agreed to cook something for us. I don’t confirm this yet. This is just an idea. But maybe we will plan it properly and give more time for proper RSVPs. What you guys think if we have it in the month of June 2010?

@rararawr has also think of having a birthday bash with @techsupremo in Chili’s. Maybe that can be the next tweetup as well. Hmm…

It happened again. We had a blast of a time at the #lambtwtup this time around with old and new Twitter friends. The first Al-Rawsha tweetup was done sometime last year during the fasting month with just about 9 of us. But this time around, the #lambtwtup was even bigger and more friends showed up…about 25+- of us. It was an awesome feeling meeting up with new friends (though we may know some for quite a while already virtually on Twitter, but most of us met for the first time in reality last night).

This was what I ordered. Roasted whole chicken with bread. Definitely one of the best roast chicken I have ever tasted.

And this was how it looked like, about 1 hour later. I usually eat quite fast, but I did lots of photo taking and chit-chatting with the guys in between munching.

I certainly had a great time dining on the food there, so did everyone else. As usual, Lebanese food always comes in HUGE portions. So for one person to finish a meal, would usually take a while. Hence why we all stayed on till late.

What more and you ask for? Good food, great company. We all left the place with good warm feeling and full tummy.

So, what tweetup shall it be next? Someone suggested SalsaTwtup at @ronny1976’s dance studio. Yes, Salsa, as in the dance, not the food dipping. What say you?

Most of us reached KLCC at about 2pm, but I was slightly late because I had to make a detour of picking up @rainingheaven from her home in Cheras. Good thing I had @ronny1976’s car that day. Oh yeah, he couldn’t make it to the tweetup because he was in Singapore and I had to babysit his car.

Anyway, after meeting up with the gang, we went up to have our lunch at the food court.

Of all the places, well, I do think the food court is the ideal place to have our lunch la. It’s cheap and more choices for all of us.

All I can say is that, we had a great time meeting up with everyone. I have met a few before during the Al-Rawsha tweetup but this time we get to meet more of awesome new people.

Oh well, I’ll let the photos tell all the thousand words then.

Oh and by the way, this is something that I got as a surprise from @rainingheaven. When @icednyior gave it to me, I was shocked and confused. But I’m very happy with the gift.

Then around 8pm, Ron called me that he has cancelled his class and that he is able to make it to the Tweetup. So I told him to pick me up quickly and rush over to Al-Rawsha Restaurant, KL.

Boy, I’m so glad that we went for the Tweetup.

Best thing about it was, I get to meet up with lots of new people, especially those from Twitter. Before this, I only get to see them Tweet, and last night, we get to meet up in person. It was an awesome Tweetup definitely, although there was only about 9 of us. But that lil Tweetup of ours was really meaningful…and fun!

Ron and I certainly had a great time. Also thank you so much to @hadramie for the awesome Haddadcafe. Really nice.

There was of course, lots of photos were taken. We take photos at every opportunity we get.

I think this will be done more in our next Tweetup, perhaps for Buka Puasa or Raya Open House Tweetup. I think we will “serbu rumah @syazaliyana or @hadramie” for that. LOL.

One thing amazed me. Al-Rawsha serves HUGE portion of food, especially rice. And I can’t believe that @syazaliyana finished her plate of HUGE serving of Lamb Mandy. She must be really hungry. Oh yeah, she was fasting…that’s why. ^_^

Anyway, all of us were glad that we can meet up with each other, for the first time, offline. Good experience for me, and for Ron too I’m sure. I am familiar with the Bloggers gathering but this was my first time attending a Tweetup. Loads of fun I tell you. Everyone was just talking about our Tweets and getting to know each other abit more.

So, we shall meet again at our next Tweetup, with more Tweeple I hope.
