Restart and Kickstart
February went by in a glimpse. And I think I only blogged once during that time. Yes, I’m babbling away about my blogging again.
I know I used to blog about food whenever I go to some place to eat. I used to love doing some “free” reviews on behalf of the place I dined, be it good or bad. I’d say, I do miss all that alot.
Again, the only thing that is preventing my from blogging is the lack of time…and perhaps subjects. Lacking of time also means I don’t get to go out as frequent as I used to, hence lacking of subjects.
Nowadays, I only hangout at my usual places such as Rasta TTDI, Hartamas Square and Sunway Pyramid. In those places, I only do my usual activity such as chilling out, having shisha, eat and play bowling. So, do I blog about all that every time I go out? I guess not.
Having said that, I really don’t have the time to sit in-front of my laptop and think of a subject. So right now, Posterous and Twitter is helping me alot when it comes to keeping myself updated. With Twitter, I can have my tweets show up on the right sidebar of my blog site, and with Posterous, I can blog a short note and post a picture while on the move. That can at least aid me in updating my blog site from time to time.
That if I want to keep it short and simple.
Okay. Now I’m setting a challenge for myself. I will blog at least once every week about the places I go to, food that I eat, things that I do. Wait…that sounds like my original objectives when I started blogging last time. Oh heck, I do need to kick start again so…yes…it shall be done. Come to think of it, I totally forgot about my main objectives on blogging. Have fun and “Jotz” about anything and everything that happened around me.
As P. Ramlee said…”Hentam saja lah!”

Now…Posterous
Getting the hang of Posterous. Just like Tumblr. Actually, similar to Tumblr but more towards blog and having the “follow” function. I don’t know which one I prefer at the moment. I like Tumblr because of its simplicity and does not remind me of a blog, but more like Twitter. Posterous on the other hand, reminds me alot more like a blog.
We’ll see how it goes then. I shall post to both Posterous and Tumblr (not that I frequent any of it) when I have something interesting. The reason I signed up with Posterous is because I can now tweet directly to it from my mobile device. Should be easy for me from now on.
Like I said…see how it goes.

Al-Rawsha #lambtwtup 2010
It happened again. We had a blast of a time at the #lambtwtup this time around with old and new Twitter friends. The first Al-Rawsha tweetup was done sometime last year during the fasting month with just about 9 of us. But this time around, the #lambtwtup was even bigger and more friends showed up…about 25+- of us. It was an awesome feeling meeting up with new friends (though we may know some for quite a while already virtually on Twitter, but most of us met for the first time in reality last night).
Some of the familiar faces at the tweetup.
This was what I ordered. Roasted whole chicken with bread. Definitely one of the best roast chicken I have ever tasted.
And this was how it looked like, about 1 hour later. I usually eat quite fast, but I did lots of photo taking and chit-chatting with the guys in between munching.
I certainly had a great time dining on the food there, so did everyone else. As usual, Lebanese food always comes in HUGE portions. So for one person to finish a meal, would usually take a while. Hence why we all stayed on till late.
What more and you ask for? Good food, great company. We all left the place with good warm feeling and full tummy.
So, what tweetup shall it be next? Someone suggested SalsaTwtup at @ronny1976’s dance studio. Yes, Salsa, as in the dance, not the food dipping. What say you?
